Scope of Engineering & Professional Services
Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. (CBBEL) staff completed a dam
safety inspection for this high hazard dam in 2003. This inspection was
conducted as part of a dam rehabilitation design project being completed
by CBBEL for the Town of Milan and CSX Transportation. Services included
a research of dam files at the Indiana Department of Natural
Resources—Division of Water, a detailed field inspection of the dam, the
upstream watershed, and the downstream conveyance system, and development
of the Dam Safety Inspection Report. The entire process was conducted in
accordance with the State high hazard dam inspection legislation (I.C.
14-27-7.5).
