Heather Buck has always had an affinity for water, having studied it through a microscope at a very early age.
At Burke, she has conducted many chemical, physical and biological water quality assessments for various types of projects. A planner by nature, Heather has also developed and implemented several municipal stormwater quality management plans, watershed management plans, and multi-hazard mitigation plans.
Heather enjoys educating people about the environment and what we can do to preserve it, volunteering her time to teach adults and children about soil and water quality. She is also the office expert on the difference between a bug and an insect.
