For nearly 30 years at Burke, Peggy Shepherd has been responsible for analyzing, managing, planning, developing, and reviewing water resource engineering projects.
Her project experience includes master planning, permitting, floodplain delineation, flood control, and drainage projects for federal, state, local, and private entities with the goals of identifying, reducing, and mitigating flood risk.
When she isn’t engineering, Peggy gives back to her community through volunteer opportunities including serving meals at a transitional housing site for families in need and some sign language interpreting for the deaf.
