St. Joseph County, IN

Indiana Enterprise Center

St. Joseph County saw potential for future site development in the northwest part of the county. Through a coordinated strategic approach with multiple consultants, St. Joseph County wants to identify and prioritize the capital needs for the infrastructure as well as the area’s current needs to obtain OCRA pre-certification.

The master plan aims to maximize the site’s flexibility, create site branding, integrate infrastructure, develop an operations and management strategy, and consider impacts to local communities.

Burke's wetland mitigation plan explores multiple mitigation options such as in lieu fee, conservancy easements, wetland bank credits, and on-site wetland mitigation. Our stormwater management plan considers regional detention, green infrastructure design, long-term maintenance, and potential funding sources such as Urban Drains, Impact Fees, and regional stormwater utility.

Burke's team of environmental specialists and engineers provided:

  • Environmental planning
  • Wetland delineation survey and report
  • Coordination with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
  • Wetland mitigation strategies and planning
  • Permit assistance and coordination
  • Stormwater management
  • Stormwater drainage funding sources
