A.J. Fricke is Burke’s resident dam incident and emergency action plan expert.
He organizes and leads training sessions and workshops for dam owners and emergency managers, teaching them how to implement a plan for a potential incident or emergency event at a dam. He is also well-versed in the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s levee accreditation process to help levees meet the National Flood Insurance Program requirements.
A.J. also has experience in commercial site development, grading and drainage design, storm sewer design, stormwater pollution prevention plans and permitting.
When he isn’t working, A.J. volunteers at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where he is a member of the parish council and chairman of the Fellowship Commission.
